EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION: Candidate must have a minimum of three years college studies in accounting or finance, college degree preferred. Should be familiar with the basic accounting principles. Must possess the ability and patience to work with numbers most of the day. Capable to read and write in English. Computer literacy is required to operate email, internet, MS word and office and Agency operational software.
EXPERIENCE: Entry Level position
SPECIAL CUSTOMER RELATED QUALIFICATIONS: Capable of working effectively in a self-directed role, able to multi-task and problem-solve. Each job responsibility and competency measurement include the following requirements: the ability to coordinate work of others, able to manage and coordinate multiple tasks. Ability to work independently and under supervision, Ability to communicate effectively with all departments within the organization Telephone etiquette.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Uphold organizational mission, values, vision and support the integrated process of care while exhibiting integrity and ethics in all endeavors.
- Consult with supervisor whenever a conflict pertaining to the Code of Ethics arises.
- Interact with clients, staff, and client family members in an appropriate and professional manner.
- Seek a consultation with supervisor whenever issues are identified that are beyond your base of knowledge and skills in accordance with the agency policies and procedures.
- Keep all records in the designated place to ensure safety and confidentiality in accordance with the agency policy and procedures.
- Complete Relias trainings in accordance to the agency policies and procedures
- To keep an accurate record of the company?s Operating Accounts.
- Comply and abide with the agency?s Code of Ethics
- Comply with agency?s program?s policies and procedures.
- Confidentiality is a must with all matters.
- Generates all cash disbursements. Receives and records all cash receipts.
- Assign codes to income and expenses.
- Makes all necessary journal entries for the account; this includes but is not limited to monthly adjusting entries prepared by Fiscal Officer; (includes payroll entries and food stamp entries), entering of accounts payable at the end of each month.
- Runs all necessary financial reports at the end of the month.

- Prepare a detailed schedule of amounts to be allocated to each grant for life and medical insurance.
- Post receipts to the appropriate vendors.
- Request and process payment to vendors as required.
- Submit deposits and contact the bank if the need arises.
- Other Duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit, talk, and listen in various location withing the Agency at noisy environment for extended periods of time. The employee will be required to move around the premises periodically. The employee must have the ability to operate a personal computer and can express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written word. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be required to lift or move 5 to 35 pounds items by him / herself. Mental requirements include the ability to read, write, concentrate, reason, analyze, evaluate, problem solve, multi-task and perform mathematical calculations.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The noise level in the primary work environment is usually moderate with multiple individuals working and conversing, business office with computer printer, and light traffic. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
