Kitchen Supervisor
Job Type: Full-Time; Exempt
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm

What You Will Do:
- Lead and manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring recipes are followed and high standards are met.
- Supervise food preparation, production, and controls, maintaining consistent quality for high-volume cannabis-infused products.
- Train and mentor staff to produce high-quality cannabis-infused products while maintaining safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Processing and Packaging teams to meet production schedules while adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
- Work with other departments to coordinate special needs and forecast inventory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with state cannabis regulations and federal and state laws.
- Work with the Production Manager to plan daily operations, product mixes, and quantities while improving processes.
- Maintain and complete Master Batch Records, perform QA/QC duties, and ensure adherence to state and company policies.
- Conduct inventory counts, maintain records, and oversee storage, sanitation, and waste disposal processes.
- Ensure the kitchen operates under GMP standards and is always inspection-ready.
What You Will Bring:
- 3-5 years of food preparation experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment and at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- A solid understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and production efficiency.
- Proven ability to mentor and manage a team while maintaining a positive and creative attitude.
Even Better If:
- You have experience cooking with cannabis or working in the cannabis industry.
- Familiarity with state and county health department requirements for production facilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Allergen warnings, potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens.
- Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol.
- Daily use of provided PPE, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary.
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms.
