Job Description
Lead Production Technician
Job Type: Full-Time; Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of filling and packaging operations for cannabis products such as vaporizers, RSO syringes, capsules, tablets, and concentrates
- Leadership of a team of Packaging Technicians in daily production tasks, including filling, sealing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products
- Overseeing all lab product filling and packaging activities while ensuring compliance with regulations
- Management of inventory and accurate recordkeeping for all products and materials
- Weighing, counting, sealing, and packaging products with precision
- Monitoring and driving productivity metrics, tracking performance hourly and daily
- Troubleshooting equipment and ensuring all tools are maintained in a ready state
- Ensuring workplace safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align production with the demand plan and schedule
Requirements:
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- BASIC mechanical aptitude for operating and maintaining equipment
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment (plus)
- Experience leading a team of 12 or more employees in a manufacturing setting (plus)
- Six or more months of experience in cannabis filling and packaging operations
- Ability to use computer/look at a screen for long periods of time
