Who You Are:
As a Pharmacist at Curaleaf, you’ll play a key role in our retail dispensary, ensuring smooth operations and compliant distribution of cannabis products. You are a customer-focused and detail-oriented professional passionate about patient care. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, guiding patients and dispensary staff with your expertise in product knowledge, dosing, and consumption methods.
You excel at educating, consulting, and ensuring compliance with inventory, security, and regulatory protocols, helping create an outstanding patient experience while supporting business goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Patient Consults: Provide patients with accurate product recommendations, dosing, consumption methods, and product details.
- Patient Care: Assist patients with questions, concerns, and complaints, adjusting recommendations and/or dosing based on patient feedback.
- Team Training: Train team members on product knowledge, ensuring they provide proper recommendations to patients.
- Patient and Physician Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with physicians, patients, politicians, and professionals in the community.
- Cannabis Knowledge: Deepen your understanding of cannabis products, dosing, drug interactions, side effects, and the efficacy of different strains and delivery methods.
- Store Operations: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all federal and state laws. Oversee inventory audits and dispensing operations.
- Inventory Monitoring: Assist with inventory forecasting, product intake, and maintaining systems for regulatory reporting and sales analysis.
What You’ll Bring:
- An active Pharmacy License in the state you’re applying for.
- Strong knowledge of the retail and pharmacy landscape.

- Effective communication skills at all levels inside and outside the organization.

- Flexibility with scheduling, able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and finger to feel, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 25 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, and lift up to 25 pounds. This position requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional retail environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, POS systems, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
