About the Role: As the Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security and asset protection, including managing security guard vendors. This dynamic role includes security system oversight, employee training, investigations into lost cash and inventory, budget management, help desk ticket system administration, and more.
What You’ll Do:
- Security System Oversight: Manage installation, maintenance, and upgrades of security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarms, and fire safety.
- Training & Development: Implement security training programs and provide ongoing development for employees and security personnel.
- Investigations: Lead investigations into lost cash, inventory shrinkage, and security incidents, collaborating with law enforcement and internal teams.
- Budget Management: Develop and monitor the security budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and identifying savings opportunities.
- Help Desk Management: Oversee the security help desk ticket system, ensuring timely issue resolution and collaboration with IT.
- Vendor Management: Select, manage, and assess security guard vendors to maintain high training and performance standards.
- Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency plans, coordinating with authorities to ensure safety during critical incidents.
- Policy & Compliance: Enforce security policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and conduct audits for continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, asset protection, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of security systems, technology, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including safety and security standards.
