Essential Functions
- Manage A/R workload and follow up with Governmental and Commercial payers in an appropriate time frame
- File secondary claims online
- Research and appeal denied claims
- Review patient accounts for accuracy and completeness
- Assist patients with claim questions and account balances
- Update insurance and demographics
- Adhere to production and quality goals
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- Minimum three years’ experience in a Medical Billing role
- General knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
