Curana Health is a provider of value-based primary care services for the senior living industry, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted & independent living communities, Memory Care units, and affordable senior housing sites. Responsibilities include:

• Round and manage clinical care for geriatric patients in partner facilities, including skilled nursing, long term care, assisted living, independent living and memory care facilities.
• Travel to facilities to provide medical coverage 4 days/week.
• Serve as interim Medical Director in partner facilities.
• Build relationships with the facility staff, administrator and nursing director.
• Engage with the multi-disciplinary care team to address quality of care and patient care needs.
• Complete timely documentation and billing for services provided per Curana policy.
• Respond to daytime calls from the facility when not physically present.
• Assist with the transition to the permanent Curana provider(s).
• Serve as a model and representative of Curana Health at all times.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree from accredited medical school
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
• Unrestricted licensure in North Carolina or South Carolina with ability to obtain additional licenses within first 90 days
• Easy access to a major airport for frequent travel

Qualifications

Salary : $325,000 - $350,000
