Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, enhancing their quality of life.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Take and record vital signs, ensuring accurate medical documentation for healthcare providers.
- Maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment to promote health and safety.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed, including transferring from bed to wheelchair.
- Document all care provided in medical records accurately and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or home community care is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices is essential.
- Familiarity with memory care techniques is a plus.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to administer medications safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining clean environments and accurate medical records.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and families.
