Job SummaryWe are looking for 3 Professional Home Health Care Aides to join our team for a 24/7 case in Gettysburg, PA! You will be directly working with a 74-year-old female client following a one-on-one care plan in her home. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets her needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert. She is a HOOT!!!
- Give medications and immunizations
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year prior professional experience
- Driver’s license required
Schedule
- 24/7 (3 shifts) 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12am-8am
Payrate
- $14-$16
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
