Employed Pulmonary/Critical Care position in Davenport, IA This large health care system is looking to add a physician to join an established group of three others physicians and four other advanced practitioners. Competitive compensation, full benefits package with a sign on bonus and relocation assistance. This community is several hundred thousand people and provides easy and quick access to Chicago and Des Moines.
Signing Bonus available up to $50,000 . Malpractice covered fully at 2 million and 6 million; starts from 1st day. 3 practice locations. Outpatient clinic and approximately 12 weeks per year in ICU, 7 day rotations (10-12 hour shifts with separate call coverage). Hospital based pulmonary consults to coincide with clinic schedule. Office rotations (covering outpatient consults, hospital consult back up to ICU provider, and procedures). Call is 1:4, possibly 1:5. 4 weeks paid time off, with an additional week for CME, annually. Hospital based collaboration with Nurse Practitioners to cover:. Day shift Pulmonary floor, Day shift ICU support, Night shift NP covers ICU and pulmonary floor/consults. Open ICU with mandatory critical care consultation.
