Pediatric Hospitalist opportunity in South Dakota with a 146-bed state-of-the-art tertiary care center. Provides family-centered care in a child friendly environment. Facilities include a 58-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a 12-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Both units are staffed by board certified intensive care pediatricians. Duties include admitting patients to the general medical units, providing consults to medical and surgical services, and teaching medical students and resident.

Hospitalist fellowship in NOT REQUIRED. 7 on 7 off schedule. Average of 12-13 shifts/month with approximately 1752 clinical hours/year. Can pick up extra shifts if desired for additional compensation. Two physicians on during the day, 1 on during the night, along with senior peds resident.
