Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Event Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Event Assistant will support the planning and execution of events from start to finish. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for creating exceptional experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including logistics, schedules, and vendor management.
- Help set up event spaces, including arranging furniture, decorations, and equipment.
- Monitor events to ensure everything runs according to plan and address any issues that arise.
- Collect and organize event materials, such as brochures, name tags, and promotional items.
- Assist with on-site registration and guest services during events.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and help gather feedback for improvement.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as maintaining event calendars and databases.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
