Job Title: Install Crew Standard with Driving
Job Summary:
The Install Crew Standard with Driving position is responsible for safely transporting and installing event rental equipment at client venues. This role involves hands-on work, including loading/unloading trucks, setting up event spaces according to client specifications, and ensuring all equipment is handled with care. Drivers will also assist with deliveries and pickups, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving and Transportation:
- Safely drive company vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to deliver event rental equipment to client venues.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Event Setup and Breakdown:
- Load and unload event equipment, such as tents, tables, chairs, linens, and décor items, with attention to detail and care.
- Install and assemble rental equipment at event sites, following layout plans and client instructions.
- Dismantle and pack equipment after events, ensuring items are returned in good condition.
- Customer Interaction:
- Represent Curated Events in a professional and courteous manner during client interactions.
- Address client concerns or questions on-site and communicate any issues to management promptly.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Inspect equipment for damages or missing parts during loading and unloading.
- Report maintenance needs or damages to the warehouse or management team.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling heavy or fragile equipment.
- Use proper lifting techniques and tools to prevent injuries.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience in event setup, warehouse operations, or delivery driving is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, physically demanding role requiring regular heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking.
