Job Overview
The Provider Coordinator is an essential member of the Provider Services Team. This position is responsible for supervising a core team performing ELRC functions in providing a full array of services to all providers, including DHS-certified and relative providers. The Provider Coordinator ensures the assigned team performs outreach and onboarding activities for new providers, as well as case management activities for an assigned set of providers to remain in compliance with ELRC program regulations and to connect eligible providers to additional resources to support best practices and continuous quality improvement. This position collaborates across the ELRC to reduce the administrative burden on participating providers and to contribute to efforts to build regional access to high-quality early learning settings. The Provider Coordinator primarily operates out of the Early Learning Resource Center office.
Responsibilities
Supervisory or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience with subsidized childcare provider eligibility or 5 or more years of work experience in human services, customer service, or a related field involving program eligibility determination
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred in social services or a related field

Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of Provider Specialists in conducting all provider services functions to ensure compliance with subsidy regulations, policies, procedures, and timeframes.
- Be responsible for quality control of all caseloads and reflective supervision with the assigned team.
- Evaluate Provider Specialist staff at the completion of the 90-day initial review period and on an annual basis to build integrity of processes, addressing job performance when necessary.
- Be responsible for working collaboratively with other department Coordinators and the Provider Services Manager to promote high-integrity participation of providers in all ELRC services and access to meaningful community resources.
- Work in conjunction with the Provider Services Manager to ensure compliance with OCDEL regulations and timeframes and to conduct regular compliance monitoring, quality control activities, and outcomes reporting for team performance.
- Support the Provider Services Manager in executing, managing, and monitoring any contracted slot and subgrant awards as directed by OCDEL.
- Complete ongoing required and growth professional development to remain current on ELRC policies and procedures, understand the scope of resources available to regional providers, and develop internal and external collaboration to promote access to the full scope of resources.
- Develop reports as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer software programs (Microsoft Word, Access) and data entry
