Weekend Call Coverage - Cardiothoracic Surgery - Ohio
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide weekend call coverage for adult and geriatric cardiac and thoracic surgeries
- Manage aortic surgery procedures, including descending aortic aneurysms, and coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG), arterial revascularization, off-pump CABG, and more
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
Average Number of Cases:
- 1-2 cases per day
Support Staff:
- Perfusion
- Nursing
- OR PA's, NP's
Facility Information:
- Annual ER Volume: 100,000
- OHS room at each acute care facility
Schedule:
- Night Call: Per night for pager coverage (Friday 4:30 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Weekend Call: Per 24-hour shift (Saturday/Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)
- Call Back: Per hour of patient contact
