What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rural Anesthesia Care Provider position at Curative?
We are looking for an experienced CRNA to join our anesthesia team at Curative's critical access hospital in rural West Virginia. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on patient lives while enjoying a stable work environment.
About the Role
- This is an inpatient anesthesia position with a moderate volume of approximately 300 surgeries per month.
- You will be part of a close-knit team with 5 other CRNAs, ensuring collaborative support and a sense of community.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia care for a range of surgical procedures, from standard general surgery to more complex cases like robotic and OBGYN surgeries.
- Cataracts are performed one day a week, and we handle some cardiac cases, such as TEEs and Cardioversions.
- You will have the chance to expand your skills in regional anesthesia, including peripheral/trunkal blocks, spinal, and epidurals.
Qualifications
- Must be a certified CRNA.
- BLS and DEA certifications are mandatory.
- Comfortability with working in a rural setting is vital.
