What are the responsibilities and job description for the Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner position at CURAtive?
We are seeking an Urgent Care - FM Nurse Practitioner to provide coverage this September. This assignment offers no call requirements, flexible scheduling, and weekly pay.
Practice Setting :
Outpatient clinic in North Carolina
Mix of clinic settings and support staff
Larger Clinics within medical center buildings : 7-8 exam rooms, 4-5 Rad techs, RNs, CMAs
Free-standing retail clinics : 5 exam rooms, RN, CMA, rad tech, and 1 provider
Schedule :
Begins early / mid-November for 90 days with the possibility of extending
Clinics are open 7 days a week, 8 AM - 8 PM
2-4 shifts per week
No call required
Scheduling is done in 6-week rotations where a provider will cover 3-4 clinics different clinics in that timeframe
10 total clinics that provider will be asked to rotate between
Cases and Procedures :
Approximately 40-45 patients per day, can be as low as 35
Patients ages 4 months and older; must be able to treat all ages
Procedures include incision and drainage (I&D), stapling, laceration repair, splinting, occasional toenail removal
Bread and Butter (B&B) Urgent Care, including flu, infections, minor illnesses, IVs, X-rays, migraines, sprains, cuts, bruises, and burns
