Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Delivery Driver will also work in the yard, and will need to be available on Saturdays to work the yard.
Skills
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with route driving techniques and navigation tools is a plus.
