Controller

Curbco, Inc. is seeking a full-time experienced CONTROLLER to join our team.

Compensation offered will be based on experience and skill set.

Position Summary:

Has oversight and accountability for operations of the entire company and systems. Manage and supervise all aspects of Accounting (AR, AP, payroll, tax compliance, etc.), Human Resources & Project Management. Will have leadership responsibilities including managing a team of employees. Be a go-to person for all employees looking for help and assistance.

Responsibilities for this position will include the following:

• Monitoring & analyze financial data to make informed financial decisions
• Collect and consolidate financial data
• Establish and maintain financial controls
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
• Preparing internal and external financial statements and reports
• Coordinate procurement activities
• Maintain an adequate system of accounting records
• Assesses and improving accounting procedures
• Creating strategic plans for operations
• Manage regulatory reporting
• Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations
• Coordinating external auditor activities
• Providing company leaders with insights for decision-making purposes

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ applicable experience – Accounting, Human Resources & Project Management
• High proficiency using QuickBooks
• Experience managing company operations
• Must be highly proficient using Microsoft Office specifically Excel
• Experience managing a team of people (direct reports)
• Certifications while not required, are a plus - CPA, CFA, CTP
