VP Engineering

VP of Engineering 

We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced hands on VP of  Engineering to lead our development team. The leader will add to our passion for delivering an innovative, world-class product that makes our customers successful and gives them joy along the way. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the product technical directions, managing all product development initiatives, and iterating quickly to solve customer demands.  The leader  has an eye for high quality code, best practices & innovative approaches, and takes pride/ownership of whatever feature, product or codebase they’re working on. In this position, the candidate will work closely with our Head of Product to deliver on all product initiatives and deliverables.  The role requires hands-on engineering, close collaboration with product, and leadership.

What You Will Need 

• Player coach mentality 
• Proven experience in an early stage leadership role within a software engineering organization, ideally in B2B vertical SaaS 
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead lean engineering teams with high velocity and quality 
• Strategic thinking and communication skills 
• A commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and high performing engineering culture
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and design principles utilizing cloud native technologies
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA).

*Must be based in the New York Metro Area*

Hybrid model - Ability to be in office at least 3x per week or more if needed
