Position Description
The psychometrist administers and scores neuropsychological, psychological, and academic tests for patients with a range of cognitive, neurological, and psychological conditions. Working under the supervision of a licensed neuropsychologist, the psychometrist will ensure accurate test administration, data collection, and management of assessment materials. This role supports diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning by providing high-quality testing services. This is an hourly non-exempt, part-time position.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
CURE 4 THE KIDS FOUNDATION PARTICIPATES IN E-VERIFICATION.
Shift Schedule: 2 days per week 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and 1 day 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Other schedules totaling 20 hours may be possible

Working under the supervision of a licensed neuropsychologist, the psychometrist will ensure accurate test administration, data collection, and management of assessment materials. This role supports diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning by providing high-quality testing services. This is an hourly non-exempt, part-time position.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Administers and scores a wide range of neuropsychological, psychological, and academic tests, including verbal, nonverbal, written, and computerized assessments.
- Communicates frequently with the supervising neuropsychologist about test progress and patient status.
- Provides written and oral behavioral observations relevant to test interpretation, diagnostic considerations, and patient interactions during the testing appointments.
- Maintains and organizes databases and testing materials, ensuring availability and assisting with ordering supplies.
- Maintains complete and accurate patient records.
- Performs data entry and computer-based scoring for quality assurance, program evaluation, and research purposes.
- Learns the administration and scoring of new neuropsychological and psychological tests as required.
- Cleans psychological tests, materials, and therapy items.
- Complies with legal and ethical standards in psychology.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field.
- Prior experience in administering psychological tests.
- Strong attention to detail, adherence to standardized testing protocols, and the ability to work with diverse patient populations.\
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain a high level of rapport and empathy with patients during testing appointments.
- Working knowledge of PC hardware and basic office software (Excel and Word).
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Occasionally required to alternate between and standing.
- Frequently required to handle several face-to-face and telephone contacts daily.
- Occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, reach, and move items up to 15 pounds.
