Job Title: Packaging Technician

If you're great at following directions and ensuring each step is executed flawlessly, you're the detail-oriented individual we're seeking.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately weigh products into containers.
• Count final products and maintain organized inventory of department necessities.
• Package, fill, label, and seal various cannabis products, including flower, vape oil, tinctures, topicals, pills, lozenges, and more.
• Clean and sanitize workspaces and tools in accordance with sanitation standards.
• Maintain relevant documentation and records for all packaging activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Perform other duties as assigned to assist management and fulfill business needs.

Experience:

• Preferred experience in packaging or manufacturing but not required.
• Knowledge of production processes
• A talent for attention to detail.
• Existing knowledge or willingness to learn about cannabis and the cannabis industry.
• Work history shows progressive responsibility and a willingness to accept additional challenges.
• Proficiency in mathematical abilities.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Existing understanding or willingness to learn about state and local laws surrounding cannabis industry applications and regulations.
• Ability to work independently or in a team who can prioritize tasks effectively.

Equipment, Machines, Tools Used:

• Proficiency with packaging equipment and tools.
• Extended time sitting and standing.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Visual attention to detail.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. unassisted.
• Must have reliable self-transportation. Public transportation does not reach the facility.
• Must be able to pass a state-mandated background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
