Responsibilities:
- Plant Care: Assist in the planting, pruning, watering and maintenance of cannabis plants, ensuring optimal health and growth.
- Environmental Monitoring: Monitor and report environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and light to ensure ideal growing conditions.
- Nutrient Management: Prepare and apply nutrients and fertilizers according to the established feeding schedules.
- Compliance: Adhere to all local and state cannabis regulations, including accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized cultivation area. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Data Collection: Maintain detailed records of plant growth, environmental conditions, and cultivation activities.
Experience:
- Previous experience in cultivation, landscaping, farming or horticulture is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions precisely, and excellent organizational skills.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 and meet all local and state regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry.
- Must pass a state-mandated Department of Health background check.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing or walking for extended periods, and working in varying environmental conditions.
- Reliable self-transportation is required due to the facility location.
- Ability to work in hot, humid, and small working spaces.
