Job Title: Dispensary Store Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
Dispensary Managers are the front line of our field leadership team: they’re retail and customer-savvy, dedicated brand ambassadors and thrive on the connections we make with our customers. A Dispensary Manager is responsible for managing a retail store, which includes overseeing sales, staff, and inventory. Dispensary Managers are expected to:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of store using all necessary technology and software. Ensure smooth opening and closing of the store. Ensure the store always remains clean and presentable.
- Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, maintain contact with Dispensary Director to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.
- Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
- Ensure that team behaviors are consistent with the standards of Cure Oahu services, image, and values.
-Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store. Ensure that all company promotions are followed and communicated to the staff.
-Develop product promotions centered on cannabis holiday sales and other cycles. Keep pulse on Hawaii and national cannabis industry trends and adapt strategies for Hawaii specific execution.
- Ensure staff adheres to attendance and punctuality. Develop and maintain a schedule for employees that reflects the needs of the business.
-Ensure that all the processes follow legal, safety, security, internal requirements, sustainability, HR guidelines.
-Ensure that company policies and updates are shared with staff when approved by the Dispensary Director.
-Supervise, train, and assist employees like Sales Supervisors and Customer Specialists in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions.
- Partner with Dispensary Director when hiring and training to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service.
- Implement cross-training of employees to always maintain productivity.
-Collaborate with HR & Dispensary Director prior to any coaching or counseling conversations.
-Do not share sensitive proprietary information with anyone without direct authorization by the Dispensary Director.
- Ensure that cash & tips are processed correctly each month and submitted prior to the due date.
OTHER DUTIES
-Comply with federal and state law, along with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or Previous Sales Experience preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE
-Existing knowledge about cannabis and/or the cannabis industry necessary
-Work history show progressive responsibility, willingness to accept additional challenges.
REASONING ABILITY
-Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Existing understanding or willingness to learn about state and local laws surrounding cannabis industry applications and regulations
EQUIPMENT, MACHINES, TOOLS USED
- Ability and knowledge to use a computer workstation and office equipment including keyboard, mouse, and printer, fax, copiers, and internal phone system along with inventory systems
- Proficiency in technology software, desktop electronics, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), designated point of sale system, and other software systems necessary for dispensary operations
- Ability to follow specific directions and instructions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
-Must be 21 years or older
- Extended time sitting, walking, bending, reaching, and working in tight small spaces.
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
-Must be able to lift and push/pull up to 50lbs.
- Must pass a background check (state mandated)
