Job Description :
Limelight Pharmacy in Middlesex is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. We are expanding. The ideal candidate will help team members and the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications, delivering customer service, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.Provide exceptional customer service by assisting patients with inquiries, processing transactions, and addressing concerns professionally.Maintain accurate inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to ensure medication availability.Ensure pharmacy operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations.Keep precise patient records and pharmacy documentation.Handle insurance claims processing efficiently and resolve reimbursement issues.Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Job Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred.Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is preferred.At least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.Basic Knowledge of ExcelSkills :
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in pharmacy management software.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.Solid understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations.We look forward to reviewing your application.
