What are the responsibilities and job description for the Labeling Technician position at Curexa Pharmacy?
The Labeling Technician is a certified pharmacy technician position who supports Curexa Pharmacy services through the application of accurate labeling to finished compounded preparations. The position will assist the Labeling Team Lead and Lab Operation's professional staff, under direct supervision, in aspects of labeling finished compounded packaged preparation batches using the principles and practices meeting USP and USP standards as warranted. The Labeling Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and compliant labeling of finished compounded batches and is accountable for maintaining a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and quality within the labeling process, while adhering to regulatory guidelines and organizational standards. This position is responsible for following approved policies and department workflows to ensure the application of accurate product labels. Technical duties include but are not limited to assisting with labeling supplies inventory management, labeling application, and regulatory compliance. Responsible for completing labeling tasks, completing workflow based on work area's priorities, communicating workflow output, and other duties as assigned. Shall maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary working environment by complying with Curexa policies and procedures, SOPs, NJ state Board of Pharmacy regulations and federal laws, and to facilitate Curexa's growth and success of the pharmacy
