Senior Director, Global Engineering – Remote (United States)

The Senior Director Global Engineering is responsible for leading Curia’s combined Global Project & Equipment Engineering resources. The leader will work in close concert with the Senior Director Global Capital Projects PMO to deliver Curia’s key capital investments.
The leader will be primarily responsible for managing project & equipment engineering for large capital projects supporting Curia’s strategic initiatives. This includes projects to expand and modernize the manufacturing infrastructure across the network. The incumbent will be responsible to lead the specification, design, purchase and installation of new technologies to increase capacity or efficiency for existing products and for the launch of new products.
This position interfaces with Curia’s manufacturing plants and other departments and functions within Curia’s network. The breadth of support includes technical oversight of Curia’s project & equipment engineering teams located at our manufacturing facilities or assigned to major capital projects.
The Global Project & Equipment Engineering team will provide subject matter expertise (SME) in project engineering, process equipment engineering, utility equipment, facilities, HVAC systems, equipment maintenance and reliability.
This position reports to the Vice President, Engineering & Technical Services and will directly manage the Global Project & Equipment Engineering resources.

o XP and APEX Design
o Solvent Handling and Recovery
o Chemical Synthesis, Fermentation and Isolation Equipment
o Downstream Processes Equipment including UF / DF and Chromatography
o Sterile Filling Processes
o Sterilization and Lyophilization Processes
o CIP Processes
o Critical Utility Systems (WFI, CS, Cleanroom Facilities and HVAC)
o Process Equipment Start-up, Commissioning and Qualification
Pay range : $196,000-$244,500 / year
