The Director of IT is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of all IT systems and initiatives. This role ensures that technology supports and enhances organizational goals, drives innovation, protects digital assets, and provides a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for daily operations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Assist in developing and execute the IT strategy in alignment with the organization’s mission, business objectives, and growth plans.
· Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer delight.
· Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities for technology to enable innovation, reduce costs, and improve processes.
· Oversee the management and optimization of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud environments, and user systems.
· Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of systems to support business operations.
· Ensure users are properly trained on all systems
· Oversee strategic planning and development of data collection and reporting in partnership with department leaders
· Identify areas of opportunity to leverage data and systems to drive business outcomes
· Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard data, systems, and intellectual property.
· Monitor risk, ensure compliance with relevant regulations and lead incident response as needed.
· Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team.
· Set clear goals, manage performance, and foster professional growth and collaboration.
· Create a service-oriented IT culture with strong internal customer support
· Oversee IT vendor relationships and manage technology procurement.
· Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
