This position is responsible for the posting of insurance payments from health insurance payers and patients.
Description:
- Manage incoming ERA/EOB/EFT and other forms of payment received from insurance payers
- Post all received payments, electronically and manually, into the EMR system
- Post all credit card payments received
- Maintain an accurate medical billing/payment record and batch balance
- Accurately apply CAS codes and adjustments as indicated on the insurance remits.
- Documenting revenue from patient payments and insurance reimbursements
- Etc.
