This is a remote position. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications will be required to complete a video prescreen to move forward in the hiring process.
Hourly Rate: Up to $24.00/hour based on experience

Please note that we are looking for people who have hospital billing experience in collections and have some HB billing experience in high dollar collections, adjustments, and denials management.
Job Overview
Job includes a variety of tasks, including insurance verification and eligibility, daily claims review, and payment posting, invoice billing and collections, Medicare Part B claims, and other related duties as assigned.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Perform end-to-end billing activities for radiology services, including claim preparation, submission, possible and follow-up.
- Work collaboratively with the radiology department to address billing-related inquiries and discrepancies.
- Review and correct billed claims for accuracy in coding, modifiers, and compliance with payer requirements before submission.
- May need to research and resolve denied or rejected claims, including coding errors, medical necessity, and eligibility issues.
- May need to follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims to ensure timely resolution and reimbursement.
- Investigate and resolve billing denials and rejections.
- Stay current on payer policies, radiology-specific coding updates, and billing regulations
- Must have Meditech experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology billing.
- Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient radiology billing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of the billing process.
- Knowledge of radiology-specific CPT codes, ICD-10 coding, and billing practices.
- Knowledge of payer guidelines, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance requirements.
- Skilled in Meditech for billing and claims management.
- Skilled in organizational and time-management skills.
- Skilled in written and verbal communication.
- Skilled in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Meditech reporting tools.
- Skilled in analytical problem-solving abilities to address billing and claim-related issues efficiently.
- Skilled in claim denials and denial prevention.
- Ability to learn new healthcare platforms, accordingly.
- Ability to ensure accuracy of detailed information.
