Responsibilities
- Support the HR team in the execution of recruitment and onboarding process, including but not limited to assisting with job descriptions, scheduling interviews, and new hire orientation
- Drive continuous improvement in HR programs and processes
- Create engaging employee communications and improve the employee experience
- Stay current with HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance with labor laws and drive continuous improvement in HR processes
- Assist with development and coordination of employee engagement activities
- Maintain HR ADP WFN home portal, utilize ADP, and generate reporting
- Learn and train on the various HR programs & projects to support the team
- Participate in team and company initiatives
- Present findings and recommendations to functional HR team and leadership team members in a final capstone presentation at conclusion of internship
- Must be 18 years of age
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university studying toward a bachelor’s degree, in Human Resources, Business Administration, Human and Organization Development, or a related field
- Proficient computer & software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written & interpersonal communication skills (including presentation skills)
- Motivated to tackle new projects and ideas
- Enthusiasm for HR and a desire to learn about HR practices
