Low Voltage Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems including Date, alarm systems, surveillance equipment, and other related technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of schematics and the ability to work with various hand and power tools. The Low Voltage Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties through effective system design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including Data, alarm systems and surveillance equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation and functionality of systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and repair tasks.
• Conduct field service visits to assess system performance and address client concerns.
• Collaborate with clients to design customized security solutions that meet their needs.
• Perform locksmithing tasks as required for system installations or upgrades.
• Document all work performed, including system designs, installations, and maintenance activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in low voltage technology.

Experience

• Previous experience in low voltage system installation or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with alarm system sales is a plus.
• Certification in low voltage technology or related fields is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work performed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
