Primary office locations include Greenville, SC and Cleveland, OH, along with centers of expertise in Austin, TX, and Quebec, Canada. Manufacturing operations are in Hendersonville, NC; Plympton, MA; Christiansburg, VA; and Acuña and Tijuana, Mexico.
The Order Entry associate will be responsible for reviewing and accurately modifying an order in Current Lightings entry system (SAP). The Order Entry associate will work closely with Customer Service, and other internal departments to ensure accuracy of sales orders and timely processing is achieved. The environment is fast-paced and requires an individual who can adapt to fluid situations to satisfy the customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Release all EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) order that comes in from distributors using order release guidelines
- Manually key all sample orders that come in from Engineers/Product managers
- Release all rush orders Air/Will Call
- Receive and route sales orders according to protocol
- Review, modify, and edit orders timely and accurately
- Modify, monitor, and follow-up on unclear order information and revising orders once clarified and complete
- File according to procedure to remain consistent.
- Modification of sales orders according to customer input.
- Attend product training regularly to increase effectiveness and understanding.
- Ability to read and interpret documents
Skills/Competencies Required:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Proficiency in use of computers and Current Lightings software, including SAP.
- Highly motivated, energetic, and ability to multi-task
- Ability to meet deadlines and desired turnaround times
- Detail oriented and execute order entry and issue resolution from start to finish in the allotted timeframe.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience entering customer sales orders with multitude levels of complexity
- Minimum 2 years of related experience, SAP knowledge preferred
Compensation
The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $19.25-$21.75.
