Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting and Administrative Professional to join our team. This mid-level position is perfect for someone with accounting experience looking to grow and expand their skill set in a supportive, community-focused workplace. In addition to handling financial tasks, this role will also include answering incoming phone calls and providing general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping
- Reconcile financial statements and balance sheets
- Assist with payroll, invoicing, and budget management
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, providing exceptional customer service
- Maintain organized records and files
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth office operations
- Perform general administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience (preferably in a similar role)
- Strong Skills in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access a huge plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Professional and courteous phone demeanor
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or degrees are a plus
