Job Overview :
Primary Wor k : Serve as the Data Analyst to support data visualization and analysis needs. This position supports the Office of Environmental Accountability and Transparency developing dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense.
Education : Bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Science, or other Information Technology major, or equivalent work experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) :
The following must be clearly outlined on the resume under specific roles, not just in the summary at the top (this does not pertain to soft skills).
- 5-7 years proven experience in data visualization and analysis
- Proficient in gathering and cleaning data from various sources
- Familiar with statistical methods and techniques to identify patterns, trends, correlations, and anomalies
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate program requirements into technical solutions and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Good oral (presenting and public speaking) and written (documentation, briefing reports, correspondence, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) communication skills.
- Ability to determine work priorities and ensure proper completion of work assignments.
