Description :
The Permitting Specialist is responsible for setting up the job in the operations pipeline. This individual is a primary point of contact for the customer as their project moves through the operations pipeline. The key areas of responsibility are to obtain all the needed permits, the net-metering agreement, and reserve any incentives for which the system qualifies. Since Green Ridge Solar works across the entire state of Oregon, this requires a solid understanding of each AHJ needs for permitting or the ability to learn those requirements quickly. When a solar installation has been completed, the specialist will be responsible for coordinating the final inspections required to close out the project & sending the “approved” notices to all parties involved.
An organized, customer service minded and determined self-starter are required qualities to succeed in this position.
