Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Part Time on Call Recruiter with a strong background in DoD contractor recruiting to support our recruitment operations. This role will be pivotal in managing full cycle recruiting processes and ensuring strict adherence to recruiting compliance standards, including annual reporting for EEOC, Veteran, OFCCP, AAP, and other regulatory functions. We are especially interested in candidates seeking part-time employment—ideal for retirees, professionals desiring a flexible, part-time role, or Veterans/Veteran Spouses—as this role is not expected to transition to full-time in the near future. Important Note - Recruiting companies will not be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Leadership:
- Manage full cycle recruiting processes for DoD contractor positions.
- Develop strategic sourcing plans and maintain robust candidate pipelines.
- Ability to understand and brief our comprehensive employee benefit plans.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand and fulfill staffing requirements.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Oversee and ensure accurate annual compliance reporting, including EEOC, Veteran, OFCCP, AAP, and other related functions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting regulations and industry best practices.
- Implement and monitor processes to ensure recruitment practices adhere to compliance standards.
- Flexibility and On-Call Support:
- Provide on-call recruiting support as needed, managing a flexible schedule to meet recruitment demands.
- Adapt to changing priorities and urgent staffing requirements while maintaining high standards of service.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with HR leadership to refine and optimize recruitment strategies.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Act as a subject matter expert on recruiting and compliance matters.
- Keep up with all Recruiting Social Media to include posting graphics and positions to Linked-In and other sites.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred. However, BS Degree may be substituted for a solid 10 of recruiting and compliance reporting experience.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of HR, Compliance and specialized recruiting experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in DoD contractor recruiting.
- Proven experience managing recruiting compliance and regulatory reporting.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, on-call schedule.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficient in utilizing recruiting tools and HR information systems – preferably UKG.
Work Environment & Employment Type:
- This is a part-time, on-call position with a hybrid work model.
- One mandatory in-office day (Wednesday) with remote work available on other days.
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate dynamic recruiting needs.
