Essential duties and responsibilities
- Prioritize and process daily orders as assigned to meet production needs
- Ensure proper staging of materials for orders
- Verify accuracy of cuts by adhering to quality assurance standards
- Maintain equipment in good operational order by following operating instructions and established procedures, trouble-shoot breakdowns and report operational issues to supervisor or maintenance
- Maintain excellent housekeeping practices in production area
- Practice proper safety techniques
- Follow all procedures and guidelines
- Other assignments as defined
Qualification requirements
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills required to build relationships across the business
- Must be able to follow written instructions in English, read a tape measure and calculate basic math
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently or as a team member
Physical demands and abilities
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, reaching
- Able to lift 50 pounds, repetitively
- Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects
