Job Description

Current Solutions is a leading low voltage systems integrator in Western Colorado. We are seeking dependable hard-working individuals to join our established team.

*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for installing pathways and low-voltage cabling in new or existing buildings. (Cat5e, Cat6 (6A), Coax, Fiber optic, etc...) (Access Control and Security Cabling)
  • Labeling, termination and testing of new cabling. (Teledata, Access Control, and Security)
  • Installation of telecommunications room cable management, network racks and cabinets.
  • Installation and termination of peripheral devices.

Education/Skills/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Solid attention to detail and accurately complete required paperwork.
  • Ability to work in team environment with little supervision and demonstrate positive attitude.
  • Construction Knowledge/experience a plus.
  • Must have current CO license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass drug test and background check.

Physical Requirements:

  • Bend, lift and carry equipment on a regular basis.
  • Ability to terminate cable according to color codes.
  • Ability to frequently climb up/down ladder (minimum 6’) and perform extended overhead cabling/wiring from ladder.
  • Ability to grip, push, pull feed cable vertically into closets, horizontally in cable trays and between walls, ceilings and floors.
