Job Description
Current Solutions is a leading low voltage systems integrator in Western Colorado. We are seeking dependable hard-working individuals to join our established team.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for installing pathways and low-voltage cabling in new or existing buildings. (Cat5e, Cat6 (6A), Coax, Fiber optic, etc...) (Access Control and Security Cabling)
- Labeling, termination and testing of new cabling. (Teledata, Access Control, and Security)
- Installation of telecommunications room cable management, network racks and cabinets.
- Installation and termination of peripheral devices.
Education/Skills/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Solid attention to detail and accurately complete required paperwork.
- Ability to work in team environment with little supervision and demonstrate positive attitude.
- Construction Knowledge/experience a plus.
- Must have current CO license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass drug test and background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Bend, lift and carry equipment on a regular basis.
- Ability to terminate cable according to color codes.
- Ability to frequently climb up/down ladder (minimum 6’) and perform extended overhead cabling/wiring from ladder.
- Ability to grip, push, pull feed cable vertically into closets, horizontally in cable trays and between walls, ceilings and floors.
