POSITION SUMMARY:

The Seasonal Laundry Attendant plays a crucial role in our hospitality standards. To succeed in this role, you must be reliable, have an excellent eye for detail, and be capable of communicating with colleagues and management efficiently and effectively. This position will flex duties based upon seasonal occupancy, so adaptability is crucial regarding daily tasks and availability.

This seasonal role is slated for 30-40 hours per week (non-standard hours: example - evening hours 6PM-12Midnight OR 4AM-10AM) with weekend availability required. Seasonal role expected to close in September 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Seasonal Laundry Attendant performs laundering, drying, folding and storing of linen and towels for properties. Performing stain removal of soiled linens which requires a high attention to detail and meticulous ability to fold and store linens. May occasionally pack laundry bags for housekeepers, as directed. This role reports to the Warehouse Lead and Housekeeping Supervisor.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Able to learn and apply training related to the laundry process.

Fluent English verbal/written skills, additional language knowledge is a plus.

Strong time management skills.

Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency at times.

Ability to pay attention to detail

Working knowledge of hospitality industry standards is encouraged.

Strong detail orientation, time management, and analytical skills.

Fluent English verbal/written skills and additional language knowledge are a plus.

An outstanding verbal and written communicator (phone, device, email).

Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency at times.

Must have reliable transportation and a working smartphone with the willingness to learn software.

Able to handle the stress of a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.

Comfortability with a variety of laundry equipment and safe chemical practices.

Must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
