The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets and overseeing a team of Inside Sales Representatives with assigned territories and accounts. They collaborate with multiple internal and client stakeholders to support the department and organizational goals. The Manager is an effective leader of people with expertise in the sales process, personas, products, services and business systems throughout the customer journey.
The impact you'll have:
- Overseeing a team of full time team members, inclusive of coaching, evaluating, training, and monitoring performance.
- Develop activity reports in Salesforce and follow-up with individuals regarding results and pipeline.
- Lead and support the team to maximize positive results through proactive, ongoing, and effectual communication, project management and product knowledge training.
- Coordinate/collaborate with adjacent teams and departments for initiatives to build clientele.
- Create an environment of open interaction to assure affirmative employee morale and conflict resolution.
- Remain current on educator challenges and trends in K-12 education by attending sales meetings, tradeshows and by staying informed on state specific needs.
- Provide feedback on monthly, quarterly, annual sales plans, utilizing internal and external data to ensure that territory needs are thoroughly researched and outreach is effective.
- Establishing, meeting, and/or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Presenting a professional image always to clients, de-escalating any customer issues and supporting members of the team in addressing objections or concerns.

- Familiar with Business Systems for the role including: Zoom, Salesforce, Microsoft applications and Domo or similar marketing dashboards
- Ability to work independently with some direction, a self-starter
- Demonstrated integrity, ethical standards, and a professional demeanor
- Must submit to a Background check annually to comply with relevant student protection requirements.
Who we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree (Education or Marketing/Business preferred)
- Experience or equivalent passion and desire to work with educators and lead an inside sales team
- Ability to lead through change, adapt and adjust strategies appropriately
- 5 plus years of professional work experience preferred
- Demonstrated integrity and commitment to the company’s valued behaviors
Travel: Hybrid – monthly Travel to company office and/or client meetings (20%)

Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – $60,750-$99,750. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets.
At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
