Blaster

Weekend shift ONLY! Work 36 hours and paid for 40!

Pay range: $22.00-$24.00/hour plus $2.00/hour shift differential

General Responsibilities

1. Responsible for blasting substrates to a near white blast finish for paint, interior coating, or bed lining.

2. Maintains reliable transportation.

3. Ability to work at heights, inside confined spaces, and wear respiratory protection, etc.

4. Abides by current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free from harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.

Essential Duties

• Being able to grasp how the blaster is put together and how it works to work through any possible issues during the shift. Keep and maintain an organized/clean work environment.
• Must be able to adapt to a busy workflow while keeping a quality blast as first priority or according to AAR/FRA and customer requirements.
• Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the company’s compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule.
• Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, within given time frames and within established policy.

Ancillary Duties

1. Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
