We are seeking a Business and Forecasting Analyst (Retail Forecasting/Inventory Management) to join our team and uphold our company values: Treat People with Respect, Be Responsible and Do the Right Thing.
As a Business and Forecasting Analyst you will be responsible for overseeing purchase orders, POS, and inventory to ensure complete and on-time shipping. Responsible for developing forecasts, identifying trends and drawing conclusions based on findings.
Essential Job Functions:
Purchase Orders, POS and Item Management
- Provides PO management
- Provides POS reporting and communication
- Manages item lifecycle strategies
- Troubleshoot issues, offer solutions, and communicate resolutions
Inventory Management
- Monitors, analyzes, and forecasts inventory levels
- Collaborates with retailer counterpart to ensure in-stock consistency
- Achieves optimal inventory levels to drive sales and profitability
Reporting and Analysis
- Develops reporting and analysis, tailored towards a wide variety of audiences
- Uses internal and external databases for various reports and analysis
- Analyzes to identify issues, and to provide trends, opportunities, and insights
Forecasting, Planning and Analysis
- Completes item forecasting, planning, and analysis
- Reviews forecasts and provides feedback
- Completes vendor annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Forecasts, plans, analyzes, and recaps promotional events
Logistics
- Advises on transportation and shipping procedures, including carton marking requirements
- Knowledgeable in replenishment and transportation systems to provide support and direction
- Completes EDI and shipping compliance troubleshooting; assistance in shipping chargeback reconciliation and disputes
- Completes case pack analysis and obtains break pack approvals
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Familiar with concepts, practices, and procedures within a retail setting
- Builds and maintains internal and external relationships
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with ability to message appropriately
- Organized, able to prioritize, and pay attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously effectively
- Strong Problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with strong math and financial aptitude
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others, yet able to work independently
- Secondary degree preferred
- At least 5 years of related experience
- Target experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Windows, Office Products; MS Excel

**This is a remote position however, you must reside in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area and will be required to occasionally go into the Eden Prairie office**
