Because of our exacting standards, we are the premier third-party logistics company in the area. Our forklifts are top of the line and all-electric. Our human resources department provides employees with an App which connects them instantly to a snapshot of everything going on in the company and allows control over much of what happens with them. We utilize a state-of-the-art warehouse management system (WMS). Our innovative storage techniques and processes set standards globally. We need motivated, reliable, and hard-working Warehouse Operators. If you become one for us, you will play an important role in ensuring our warehouse operates with perfection.
This position will be scheduled 36 hours, Friday 1:00pm - 1:30am, Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm - 12:30am. Also, there will be a 12% shift differential paid for all shift hours worked.
The following education and experience are necessary for this position:
- Education: High School or equivalent
- Training: Mobile Warehouse Management Software Training (on the job)
- Certification: Forklift certification (on the job)
To do this job you will need:
- Skills: High attention to detail
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Experience: 2 years of forklift experience in a distribution warehouse setting.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
- Operate Stretch wrapping machine
- Pull and prepare product samples.
- Conduct cycle counts as required.
- Operate deblocking equipment
- Tear down equipment for cleaning.
- Operate a valve-fill bagging machine.
- Palletize bags.
- Weigh and document packages.
- Operate a hydraulic box dumper
- Receive, Store, stage, and ship customer materials using forklift and pallet jacks.
- Record any damage to product, equipment, or building using Damage Report Form and photographs.
- Safe operation of scissor lifts when necessary.
- Proficient use of scanning devices for documenting movement of customer materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
