THIS ROLE:
The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for administrative support within the People Services Department. The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for effectively managing the overall People Services presence through onboarding, employee support, offboarding and supporting the functions within the department. Enforcing and following labor compliance requirements is critical within this position.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Oversee the onboarding & offboarding process for employees, ensuring an efficient and positive experience for everyone.
- Conduct orientations and virtual meetings with employees.
- Respond to employee questions and provide timely assistance or escalate when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws & regulations.
- Maintain and update HR databases, employee records, and systems accurately and timely.
- Ensure efficient utilization & maintenance of the company’s HRIS platform.
- Support People Services projects, programs and initiatives (e.g. training, benefits open enrollment, engagement activities, policy and procedure changes, system and employee data report updates).
WHO YOU ARE:
Certifications and Other Requirements
- High School diploma or GED; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years in Human Resources or related role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce, BambooHR, Paychex) is a plus.
Mental Aptitudes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including being able to prioritize workload based on business needs.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with management and staff.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Physical Aptitudes
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- Ability to use stairs on a regular basis.
