Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Track project costs and expenditures to maintain budgetary controls.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts and permits.
- Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions to management.
- Enter, update, and verify data into relevant systems and databases with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Ensure that all data entries are error-free and comply with company standards and guidelines.
- Perform regular data audits to identify and correct inconsistencies or errors.
- Communicate with team members or other departments to obtain missing information or clarify details.
- Provide regular updates on data entry progress to supervisors or managers.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations specific to heavy highway and civil projects.
- Experience in LCAMS and Miss Utility (VA 811) a plus.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Occasional fieldwork in various construction sites, including exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Ability to work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
