Job description
RESPONSIBILITY:
Scribe/Tech: Responsibilities included pre-testing patients for the doctor, and entering dictated information by the doctor and other healthcare providers while in the exam room with patients. Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and excellent people skills are a must. Experience with optical or desire to learn.
REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE
- Proven skills in English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation, style, and editing.
- Ability to learn new computer software quickly and accurately.
- Ability to enter data into word processing, and EHR medical software accurately at an above-average pace
- Excellent collaboration, listening, communication, patient interaction, and teamwork skills
- Experience as a scribe for an Eye Care Practice desired or willing to learn
