Position Overview
We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to join our team. This position plays a vital role in assessing individual needs, designing effective behavior support plans, and helping individuals acquire functional skills while reducing behaviors that may limit independence. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure each person receives well-rounded, individualized care.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine behavioral and developmental support needs.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), tailored to each individual’s strengths and goals.
- Deliver direct behavior intervention services focused on increasing independence and reducing challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with internal and external care teams—including case managers, direct support professionals, and family members—to ensure consistent and coordinated treatment.
- Continuously evaluate individual progress through data collection and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Maintain detailed, timely, and confidential records in full compliance with HIPAA and Curtis Homes' documentation standards.
- Provide ongoing training and hands-on support to staff and caregivers, promoting effective strategies across all settings.
Compensation
$90,000 - $100,00 annually DOE
Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
- In-depth understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles, methodologies, and interventions.
- Direct experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and interpret clinical findings to inform service planning.
- Proficient in creating and monitoring treatment plans and behavior support strategies.
- Comfortable with medical and behavioral terminology; able to navigate clinical discussions and documentation.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate team members.
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and creativity in addressing complex support needs.
