Our Ballston Spa Corporate Office is looking to find experienced hard working individuals to join our team of Purchasing Assistants to perform clerical tasks related to efficient processing of vendor invoices.
- Full Time 40 Hours per week- Set Schedule
Purchasing Administration
- Retrieving and printing invoices for designated branch locations
- Audits invoices to purchase orders to verify quantity and cost. Works closely with branch personnel and/or Buyers to correct any cost/quantity discrepancies
- Ensures that invoices are processed by due dates and correct vendor terms
- Ensures that invoices and credits are scanned into Scannervision for future document retrieval
- Works with other departments on procedures for posting of receipts, purchase orders, and costing
- Ensures that invoices and credits are filed in a timely fashion
Administrative
- Correspond with branch personnel and vendors
Customer Service
- Handle telephone and electronic inquiries efficiently and effectively
- Effectively research and resolve invoice discrepancies with appropriate branch personnel
- Identify the needs and provide the appropriate level of assistance to the customer
