This position is responsible for working directly with customers and contractors in face-to-face situations at job sites and customer locations. The goal is to grow sales and the customer base through direct sales efforts.
- Drive and expand contractor business through maintenance and growth of existing accounts, aggressively prospecting to open/develop new customers and markets
- Visit job sites and customers at their business locations
- Meet with customers for product selection and questions
- Estimate material needs from blueprints
- Develop business relationships with customers
- Schedule deliveries to satisfy customer needs and maintain profitability
- Establish a business support team for customers, including sales management, inside sales, and vendors
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry and 2-3 years of outside sales experience
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
